Gateway Thank You Letter
My group was instructed to develop a thank you letter, which would then be mailed to the business we were working with, in our case, Froghouse.
Gateway Costa Rica Culture
We were assigned the task of conducting research to better understand the culture of our assigned country. In this case, my group's country was Costa Rica.
Gateway Oral Presentation
My group and I developed an outline for our presentation. This helped us to have an organized system, so that, each individual knew when assignments were due and what they would be talking about.
Gateway Country Background Report
In this assignment, as a group, we had to research and write about such topics as Costa Rica's history, culture, demographics, economy, government, and current events.
Gateway Works Cited Page
Included in the works cited page is a list of all the sources that were used to develop the Gateway Project; it would also be good to note that they are all cited in MLA format.
Gateway The 4P'S
Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. In our groups, we had to research and decide what would be the best "products" to sell in the new location that we had to move our particular business to. "Price" most nearly describes the cost of the products that will be sold; however, we had to consider what people in this new country, Costa Rica, could afford. "Place" is merely the exact location of where we want the new store to be placed. "Promotion" is the steps taken to try to advertise the new shop.

This was just another way of showing the sources we used in the project. Instead of having rigid guidelines for citing sources, we simply put the links to each website we used.
Gateway Timeline Expectancy
In this assignment, we were instructed to develop an idea/plan of how long things would take for each step during the transition process of moving our business to a foreign country.
Gateway Distribution Methods
As a group, we had to investigate how products/goods are brought to and sent out of Costa Rica and how those goods are moved throughout the country.
Gateway Market Environment
This assignment describes the reasons people are drawn to doing business in Costa Rica. It also looks at how Costa Ricans spend their money and the technology that is used in the country.
Gateway Summary
In this assignment, our group was assigned the task of writing a general statement of our findings on how we planned to move Froghouse to Costa Rica.
Gateway Marketing Report
In this assignment, we had to find the smartest ways to sell the products in Costa Rica. This not only included looking at typical business marketing suggestions. But also had to figuring out what made the citizens attracted to certain businesses and finding the best ways in which they could find information about Froghouse.

I simply wrote out my speech in an outline format so that I could practice/rehearse exactly what I wanted to say on presentation day.
Gateway S.W.O.T. Report
S.W.O.T. Report- Sounds complicated, does it not? Well, it is not actually that hard of a business concept to understand. S.W.O.T. stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. As a group, we had to construct this analysis of the Froghouse to understand where they excelled and fell short.
