Highlights of the Impact Analysis

The Impact Analysis consisted of various parts, each having their own particular importance.

It took a great deal of time to complete this portion of the project, however, it is very

informational.

 

  1. Part One: Product Design

    • Business Partner “Fit”- Why The Glider will work with Simple Green's product line

    • Market Analysis- How will the product, The Glider, do when it reaches stores and how do people find out about it

    • Design and Prototype Development- What does The Glider look like and what comes with it

  2. Part Two: Product Design Implementation

    • Manufacturing- What is the plan to get The Glider out into the marketplace

      • Facilities-

        • How is The Glider going to be made and what is the long-term plan

      • Materials-

        • What will be needed to make the product and how much will it cost

      • Staff-

        • Who is going to be working, what training will be required, and what is the cost of these employees

    • Distribution- How is The Glider going to reach all of the locations where they will be sold

      • Facilities-

        • Where will The Glider be made and what is the production plan 

      • Transportation-

        • How is each shipment of the product, The Glider, going to reach its final destination

      • Staff-

        • Who is transporting The Glider and how do they get paid

    • Sales- How is The Glider going to be sold to its customers

      • Method-

        • In what ways is The Glider being sold and where

      • Advertising-

        • What are the best ways to promote The Glider, how much will it cost to do, and who will be selling it

      • Staff-

        • Who will be hired to promote The Glider and make sure it is assembled properly

  3. Part Three: Price Analysis

    • Start-Up Costs- What are the costs affiliated with creating The Glider and its promotion

      • Manufacturing-

        • What is the location(s) of where The Glider(s) will be made and who will work there

      • Distribution-

        • Where will The Glider be held before it is shipped 

      • Sales-

        • How will The Glider be promoted and what are the costs affiliated with that

    • Production Costs- In the end, how much will it cost to make The Glider

      • Manufacturing-

        • What is the cost of the materials needed to create The Glider 

      • Distribution-

        • What is the price to ship the product and where will it go, also who needs to be hired to help sell The Glider

      • Price-

        • In the end, how much does it cost to make The Glider and how much should it be sold for
